Bob Griswold is a seasoned Corporate and Product Strategist with 15+ years global operating experience in high technology looking to get back to strategy/new product development/strategic partnership roots. A former Senior Principal with the Boston Consulting Group with deep global experience in both Asia and Europe, Bob has managed M&A/Bus Dev/Corporate & Product Strategy at several Silicon Valley companies such as Sun, BEA, HP and Cisco Systems. At Cisco, Bob built and led Cisco’s Enterprise strategy team under Tony Bates, defining the detailed strategies (VSE’s) for the Enterprise Business Council as well as the EBC’s three Architecture Boards (Datacenter/Virtualization, Borderless Networks and Collaboration). Bob’s operating experience includes: General Manager of the Java Runtime business at BEA (and architect/executive sponsor of the BEA-Intel strategic alliance), senior leadership/founder positions at multiple venture-backed startups, and Senior Vice President of Product Line Management at Seagate, where he was responsible for defining and managing Seagate’s $15B core Hard Disk Drive products, including conceiving & shepherding Kinetic, Seagate’s innovative Key-Value, Ethernet connected drive.
